Toronto-She was a seven-year old child with a youthful innocence. Katie Flynn and her family were in a limousine on their way home from a family wedding. She and her sister were flower girls at the marriage ceremony, stealing the hearts away from those in attendance on July 1, 2005.
Hours later, the little girl with an entire life ahead of her was killed by a drunk driver.
As she held her daughter’s decapitated head in her arms, Katie’s mother, Jennifer, let out the screams of a grieving parent, a sound so disturbing, it is beyond the comprehension of those who have not felt that type of pain. The family’s limo driver, Stanley Rabinowitz, also died instantly. (more…)
